I fell in love with editing the first time I sat in front of a Media 100. For those that don’t know, that was a very early digital editing software (am I dating myself? ) At the time, I just loved the process - but that grew into an obsession with storytelling and the amazing collaboration that creates it.

I’ve worked as a professional editor for over 15 years, cutting three independent feature films and several shorts, as well as many television shows for clients such as National Geographic, HULU and ABC.

Having dedicated several years to the cinematic aspects of scripted drama, I know what it takes to set the tone and create an emotional beat. I know how important actors performances are to making or breaking a scene - and I have the experience to bring out those performances and make them shine. Also having worked on several independent projects, I know how to do all of that with limited resources..

I’m not afraid to put in the extra time to meet deadlines and make sure the cut is as good as it can be. I’m willing to put in that time because I know you have one shot to make your vision come to life. I'm at a point in my life where I'm not concerned about a paycheck - I just want to tell great stories with great people.
